Not too long ago, this was Kola’s

made that transition into drug dealing

Kola hadn’t heard from Cross since

his incarceration. The last she knew

about him, he took a plea to the gun

charge, and the judge handed him a

seven-year sentence. It was the best his

lawyer could do for him. Cross and his

organization had become incapacitated,

but she didn’t miss him. He’d put her

life in jeopardy with Eduardo and

cheated on her with a Brooklyn bum

bitch. But Kola had other sights and

motives to worry about. To reflect on

the past was a death sentence.
